Found ‘The One?’
The dream is on the screen. Now it’s time to place a bid or make an offer. Register your card details so we can ensure bid is legit and our sellers are protected.
If you’re the lucky winner, a Cool Commission of 5% of your final bid will be charged to your registered card.
We Connect You and the Seller
Once you’ve won the auction and the Cool Commission of 5% has been covered, we’ll connect you with the seller to arrange payment for the vehicle and collection.
How Bidding Works...
Register your account
Just a few details to ensure you can receive updates on the car you’re looking to purchase. Card details are required to ensure the Cool Commission of 5% is covered on completion of your winning bid.
Due Diligence
TCC was founded on transparency – to make the cool car world more transparent, but it is important you check all the details of the listing and satisfy yourself before bidding.
Minimum Bid
The bid box indicates the minimum bid amount.
Maximum Bid
You can choose to set an automatic maximum bid which will allow our platform to bid for you.
Sniping Protection
This makes it fair for everyone – any bids in the final few seconds will prompt a two minute extension of the auction. This will run until two minutes has passed without new bids.
What Happens When an Auction Ends?
- Notification: Once the auction ends, we’ll notify you and the seller of the successful outcome.
- Cool Commission: As the buyer, please select the ‘Pay Now’ button to pay the 5% Cool Commission fee.
- Connection: Once this is covered has been covered, we will connect you with the seller to arrange collection and the remaining payment for your new ride.
Submitting a Pre-Auction Offer:
Think you can save everyone time? Submit an offer up to 48 hours before the auction goes live to see if you can secure your new cool car more swiftly.
- Register your account – we just need a few details to ensure you can receive updates on the car your looking to purchase. Card details are required to ensure the Cool Commission of 5% is covered.
- Make an Offer: Offers can only be made up to 48 hours prior to the auction going live and are valid for 24 hours.
- TCC Review: We’ll submit your offer to the seller if it meets their minimum.
- Decision: You receive confirmation via email of the outcome in 24 hours.
- Acceptance: If accepted, the auction will be stopped and you will be asked to pay the non-refundable Cool Commission of 5% before we connect you with the seller to arrange payment for the vehicle and collection.
