Concours examples of the Ford RS2000 are surpassing £50,000 according to Hagerty; with prices pulling up the normal conventional variants alongside.
A standard MK2 1,600 two door variant in concours condition will now set you back around £20,000, while the unusual and less popular MK2 Mexico 1600 coupe going for in the region of £40,000. Big numbers for vehicles that were once over subscribed to the scrapage scheme in the 2000s.

The current owner is selling in an unfinished format, but is emphasising that it needs the final touches. A house move dictates the need to purge their garage of some items, albeit they are not willing to part with most of their Japanese modern classics!
